Stephen L. Bluestone
President
As President, Mr. Bluestone is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s recovery services including client relationships, review of claims to maximize client benefit, resolution of major recoveries, and managing national and international litigation.
Mr. Bluestone, as a general practitioner, has years of experience in such fields as contract litigation, secured transactions, real property, probate and trusts (domestic and international), bankruptcy, insolvency, and other areas of the law directly involved in debt recovery.
He travels frequently to meet debtors in their own countries and negotiates resolutions on behalf of our clients, as he is a firm believer in a "hands-on" approach to debt recovery.
Among the numerous presentations made by Mr. Bluestone throughout the world, one of the highlights has been being the key-note speaker in 1999 in Quingdao, China at a conference sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade, where he presented a paper entitled Global Aspects of Credit Management In The Americas which was presented simultaneously in English and Chinese.
From 1970 to 1973, Mr. Bluestone's early years in the Nation's capital included testimony before the House Small Business Committee, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Communications Commission, in the areas of product safety and television advertising. Between 1971 and 1972, Mr. Bluestone was an associate with Douglas, Obear & Campbell in Washington, D.C.
