Bluestone Law is a unique law firm specializing in international debt recovery with comprehensive collection capabilities. We represent overseas and domestic clients for the purpose of collecting debts which originate in one country and require collection in another. In addition, we have a United States national collections practice.

Since the early 1930s, when the Bluestone name first became associated with international debt recovery, the firm has developed and successfully utilized collection practices and resources not generally associated with a law practice.

To maximize our efforts, we have a call center whose experienced staff contacts debtors worldwide and arranges payment plans in a choice of currencies; a tracing department which verifies a debtor's address, obtains database and background information, and business and credit reports; a liaison department which provides vital information and documentation from our clients to our local agents, be they law firms or collection agencies, in the debtor’s locale.

As a law firm, we also have a litigation department which evaluates the merits of each claim and determines the collection strategy, negotiates and drafts settlement agreements, brings lawsuits in federal courts throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico, as well as instructs law firms globally in prosecuting suits in a debtor's local jurisdiction. Additionally, we have a Latin American legal department, with an office in Santiago, Chile for regional relationships with clients and local recovery activities.
