Associate
Neo Tran represents overseas clients in the U.S. on matters related to cross-border commercial disputes. He advises foreign clients on pre-litigation actions, all facets of the litigation process, and post-judgment enforcement proceedings. Recent cases include representation of an Icelandic client in a commercial lawsuit in the U.S.; advising a Vietnamese client on a disputed import-export transaction with a U.S. company; and representation of a Chinese company in enforcing a money judgment.
Prior to joining Bluestone Law, Ltd., Neo worked as program manager for the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council in Washington D.C. where he was responsible for implementing the Trade Council's technical assistance programs and supporting Vietnam WTO accession during the period of 2005-2007.
While in law school, Neo interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and for the Honorable Stephen S. Mitchell at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He also worked as a summer associate with Allens Arthur Robinson, a leading law firm in Vietnam, in 2008. During law school, Neo was a member of the Journal of Law, Economics, & Policy.
